Sales, Service & Rates WHEN SERVICE MATTERS... the MacClinic is the place to find it! Are you making appointments or standing in line at the Apple Store? Why? Wouldn't you rather receive immediate, personalized service at an independent, family owned, Apple Authorized Service & Sales center? If your answer to any of these questions is YES, then come in and check out one or both of the MacClinic's two convenient locations in Las Vegas, Nevada or Kingman, Arizona. Owners, Bob and Angele Florisi are both Apple certified technicians who have been providing a wide range of services to the Macintosh community for more than a quarter of a century -- ever since the introduction of the first Macintosh computer system. Bob's area of expertise is hardware troubleshooting and repair. With an electronics degree from Texas A&M, he has an uncanny ability to pinpoint the source of hardware problems, and source cost-effective repair options. On the other end of the computer specturm, Angele brings more than two decades of fist hand experience with the Macintosh operating system and a wide range of application software to bear when troubleshooting and repairing software based computer problems. Together, they afford an intimate working knowledge of every Macintosh system ever manufactured -- from the original 128K to the latest MacPro; and they recertify with Apple on a regular basis to maintain their technical mastery. At the MacClinic we offer both in-shop and on-site service. We perform both in-warranty and out-of-warranty repairs; in addition to diagnostic troubleshooting; general support and training; installations; upgrades; data transfers and translations; data recovery services and more... All our work is done on a first come - first served basis (unless you have purchased your computer from us, or have purchased a pre-paid CustomCare contract, either of which entitle you to priority service). On those rare occasions, when rush service is necessary, it is available for an additional charge. Also, to minimize down time, parts can be pre-paid and pre-ordered, then once the parts arrive a scheduled time can be set to bring your system in so the parts can be replaced the same day. If pre-arranged, there is no additional charge for this service. Generally speaking, turn around times vary depending on our current workload, the complexity of the repair, the availability of necessary parts and other factors. On average, a simple repair that makes use of in-stock parts (like a hard drive replacement) can usually be completed in 2 to 3 days. Repairs that require parts to be ordered from Apple or some other source, routinely take 3-7 days to complete, assuming the part is available for immediate shipment. Repairs requiring the computer, or major parts like logic boards, to be sent out for factory or component level repair often take 10 days to several weeks to complete so please plan accordingly. In instances where we have made arrangements to meet you in an outlying community (Laughlin, Bullhead City, Lake Havasu City, Fort Mohave, Needles, etc.) for pickup and delivery of your equipment, we will usually meet you for pickup on Thursday evening or Friday and return your equipment the following week unless there is a delay obtaining parts. Like it or not, the economy is bad with few signs of improvement on the horizon. We know that this downturn is effecting everyone. So we offer layaway repair and sales options because we know that repairs or the need to purchase a new computer is seldom an expected expense. We also sell used, as well as new computer equipment, and we accept used systems for consignment sale. CLICK EACH OF THE BUTTONS ON THE LEFT OF THIS PAGE FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.... |
